Carrie and Brandon are getting married in September. And I am more than thrilled that they chose me as their wedding photographer. It's amazing how people you knew in junior high school end up reconnecting with you later in life. I love reconnecting with people and learning about their life's adventures that lead them to this point. One of the best parts about meeting a new bride and groom is learning about how they met, their relationship and their engagement. I L.O.V.E love it. It puts a smile on my face every time and never gets old. Love stories are my favorite. And probably the reason why I am a hopeless romantic who loves to read Nora Roberts novels.
Carrie and Brandon have a very sweet love story that I am sure I will do no justice. I am not known to be an eloquent writer. You know the typical "does she have a sister?" saying? Well, this one was kind of the same. Brandon is friends with Carrie's brother. Carrie was the "off limits" younger sister if you will. So, needless to say they knew each other for a while before dating. The rest is history.
Brandon is quite the distinguished scholar and attorney. He is also running for political office as a Pennsylvania state representative. You check out his website here. Carrie is quite distinguished herself and is currently working as a CVS pharmacist.
We met up at Antietam Battlefield where Carrie accepted Brandon's request for her hand in marriage. It was a gorgeous day.
By the time Brandon had convinced Carrie to journey out to the tower, it was closed for the night. Not letting that ruin his plans, he proposed in front of the tower.
Oh if you knew what I had to do to get Brandon to give me a "real" smile and not that pageant smile. lol You two rock!
Brandon played football in college. Need I say anymore?
Love this!
Love this picture of Brandon.
I cannot wait for your wedding! I'm sure it will be a blast. We will share some more laughs and maybe a couple tears. And best of all, I have the opportunity to capture it all on camera. Thank you for the honor of sharing in your wedding day.
Much love,
Robin
