Alpine Lake: A Weekend with Friends

We went to Alpine Lake with Kevin and Nicole to relax and FISH!

Jason fishing...me watching...boring! I took my camera though...that made it better...a good book would have been even better.

No time for fishing Uncle J! We were headed to Swallow Falls State Park. The big falls though is actually Muddy Creek Falls and the one everyone comes to see.

Poor Emma was teething and the cold water on her little gums seemed to help.

Meet Uncle Bob. He is Nicole's Uncle, and I think he is mine now, too. Every Memorial Day weekend he hosts a Fish Fry, and all of the trout are caught by friends and family. Bob prepares all of the fish himself in many different ways. I think I had one of each of kind. Yummy! Uncle Bob is a funny man, as you can see below I have proof. Well, maybe he just thinks he's funny because he's the only one laughing.

Or maybe he is the family clown? :-)
