I have been waiting to get my hands on this little cutie. I finally got her all to myself last Sunday. Well, actually I had to share her with Jason. Needless to say, I was in heaven and took lots of pictures while I had her. So enjoy.
When Nicole first saw this picture, she said "I have never seen her lift her head so high!".
As simple as this looks, it was anything but simple. We had to keep taking intermissions with the binky. It was something about the bed that she really liked. As soon as we put her back down, she was smiling again.
See, I told you she loved the bed. I think the new paint is exactly what I wanted....soothing/relaxing! Looks to me like it works.
This reminds me of a mom peaking in the door to check on the sleeping baby.

Then, I bundled her up and took her outside. The bundling was actually so that she wouldn't touch the grass and get a rash because it was actually really warm that day.
Have you ever tried to lay a newborn on their side and then hope they stay so that you can take a picture?! Geezsh, that was hard. She had rolled back to her back right as I snapped this picture. Oh well, it turned out good anyway. At least, I think it did.

Emma loved this basket. She fell asleep almost instantly.
As I write this, you are on your way to the hospital. Soon this whole ordeal will be behind you, and you won't remember any of it. Someday, we will be telling you all about it. Until then, we love you lots and can't wait for you to come home.
