Taste of Heaven Bakery!

MMMMmmm...If you need a wedding cake or just a birthday cake, then you definitely need to call Leah Kate Atkinson at Taste of Heaven Bakery. Kate baked my wedding cake, and man was it scrumptious! All home made from scratch, too! It can't get any better than that!

Here's a picture of my wedding cake. I wanted something simple and elegant. So flowers worked for me but if you want something more decadent, Kate can do that, too! It was nice to have my "third sister" make my cake for me, too. It made it extra special.

Ooooo...that's me cutting the cake. Seriously, Jason didn't do a bit of it. His hand was just there.


That's okay though because I got him back for it!


We had pumpkins on our tables as our centerpieces, and they looked awesome all lit up at night.

Super Troopers...

It was so COLD that day! Well, not really when I think about how cold it was this past week, but for the end of November it was really cold. It was one of the first really cold days we had. And let's just say it wasn't just the kids that were cold. I was freezing, too. We had to stop for some hot chocolate to warm up. These are quite overdue but better late than never.


I think Emma was a little cold....


And maybe miserable....



Ethan not so much....or did his mom just promise him something if he smiled?! LOL!

Emma Grace is Here!

Born Friday January 16th, 2009.
7 lbs. 3 oz. and 18 inches long.

She wasn't very patient either. Nicole had a quick 6 1/2 hour labor! She wasn't fooling around. Everyone is healthy and happy and should be going home tomorrow.

You can expect her cute little face to be gracing the pages of my blog and web page very soon!

Kevin and Nicole: Maternity

Where to start?! Nicole is absolutely beaming, and we had a blast with these pictures of her and Kevin. I can't wait to hug and snuggle this little one. Come out, come out little one. Auntie Robin needs a baby fix. LOL! Anyway, on with the show. We had been planning on it being cold but we lucked out with the warmer weather.

Kevin was a little self-conscious with the traffic that was staring at him. But he worked it out! Nicole's favorite.
