Autumn and Josh: Engaged

Autumn, Autumn, Autumn....what can I say? If I had a little sister, it would be you. I am truly honored to be your Matron of Honor, and I cannot wait for you beautiful day. I hope you enjoy your wedding gift!

Oh, so the story that goes with the first couple of pictures is this.....I drive by these abandoned houses and camper everyday. Well, right as we were finishing up, the "owner" if he really was the owner, came and asked "what are you doing?" Well, DUH! I am taking pictures. He was such a party pooper. I was taking pictures, not partying on his property. And it was literally 5 feet off of the road. I don't really get that around here. It's usually the friendly hello and keep on doing what you are doing. He must not be from around here. Anyway, the law is the law, and I was trespassing. So, I quietly left. I got what I needed anyway. Ha!

Howard Family: Whole Flock

I never get tired of taking pictures of Emma Grace! She is just so dang cute and cuddly! Emma is the daughter of Kevin and Nicole who are two of our bestest friends. Speaking of friends, I don't know what I would do without them. We share so many great memories together. I love taking pictures of them and documenting the milestones in their lives and how much Emma has grown. Here are there first family pictures since Emma was born...well that I have taken anyway. There will be more Memorial Day weekend for sure when we spend the whole weekend together! Yay!

This is a tribute to Auntie Lala. Nicole had me pick out an outfit for Emma to wear out of this humongous Target bag full of the cutest outfits EVER! It was so hard until I saw the one with the lady bug on the butt! So, this is for you Auntie Lala.

Baby in the basket take 7,126!! She was not liking it but I kept insisting and eventually she was just fine with it. She was even smiling in a couple.

"What I Cannot Change"

I cannot get over this song by LeAnn Rimes. I find it really helps me realize that I need to just let things go sometimes and embrace the here and now. It brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. Maybe it's just me, but I am the type of person that gets taken in by music...I get consumed by it almost. If I've had a bad day, I usually pop in some Dixie Chix, Sugarland, or Tim McGraw and sing with tears in my eyes all the way home from work. Their songs all have meanings and really help me cope...sometimes it just feels good to sing at the top of my lungs with the music drowning me out. I think now my new song for everyday will be "What I Cannot Change" by LeAnn Rimes. It fits the here and now, and makes me realize how fortunate I really am.

Kevin & Michelle: Engaged

When I first met Michelle, I thought she was very shy and quiet. Come to find out over a year later, she isn't like that at ALL! In fact, she is a bubbly person who once she gets to know you opens right up.

The one thing I was sure of with out a doubt when I first met her was that she is GOOORGEOUS! And I think this picture and the others prove that!

And Kev isn't so bad either! ;-)

Can you tell that Kevin used to do some jujitsu?! Who says white boys can't jump! LOL!

Everyone needs someone that makes them laugh.

Love it! I have a bunch of these and it was hard to choose, but I chose this one because they both have genuine smiles on their faces....isn't that right Kev?

There are no words!

Kev and Michelle are planning a June 2010 wedding, and Jason and I couldn't be more excited. Whether I attend as a friend or the photographer, Jason and I are more than elated for them. We are just excited to see them so in love and happy. Sometimes things in life don't work out the way you planned, but in the end it's all for the best when you find the one you love. I am sure it will be a beautiful, emotion filled day, and we can't wait to share it with you. And as Kevin told me on my wedding day, "I wouldn't miss it for the World".

Oh, and I still call a redo! I want more time and another location. Plus, I need to get your entire family sometime soon. I can't wait to my camera on the kiddos.

Leigh & Sean: Married {Lansdowne Resort}

Leigh and Sean were married April 11th at Lansdowne Resort. It started out as a rainy Saturday morning, but as luck would have it, it cleared out and the sun was shining in time for the reception. It's good luck to have rain on your wedding day anyway...that's how I see it!

I am going to let the photos speak for themselves on this post. And because I could post about 100 pictures, I am just going to put up her slide show instead.

Mary Jo: Maternity

Mary Jo is absolutely beautiful at 37 weeks pregnant! Mary Jo was up for anything, and I knew exactly the place to go. I have been eying this abandoned house for over a year now. Thank you to Christina for inviting me to tag along. And thank you to Mary Jo for being an awesome model.
